Lunches from home
At Ribbons we really love lunchtime. A piece of their personality.
Their choice of eats and treats.
Their slice of home.
Please note: No Nuts. No Chocolate Spread. No popcorn (as it's a choking hazard).
At Ribbons we regularly heat up home cooked food... baked beans, pasta packs and rice dishes you've provided. It's no bother for us and we love seeing all the different cuisines our kids are accustomed to.
During snack time, children drink milk or water from our cups. Throughout lunch time and the rest of the day, the children enjoy using their own bottle.
A bento mix box is a great way of portioning and packing the little one's lunch.
All our Ribbons enjoy what we call 'picky food'. The more colour, crunch and variety, the better!
Slice grapes, tomatoes and other cylindrical fruit length ways to avoid choking.
Lots of our children do not enjoy sandwiches. Crackers, breadsticks and wraps have proved much more popular for their developing pallets.
The children are independent and aware they must always wash their hands before eating.
